Three steps to a printed page
-
Choose how many squares across and down. Fewer squares means an easier maze.
-
Set how many different mazes you want. Each prints on its own page.
-
Press Print. Solutions print after the mazes so you can keep them separate.
Choosing a difficulty
For ages 3 to 5, try around 6×8 squares. The paths are wide enough for a chunky crayon. Ages 6 to 8 usually enjoy 12×15, and older kids can handle 20×25. Anything past 35×45 is for adults with patience and a sharp pencil.
Every maze here is a "perfect" maze: exactly one route joins the start to the finish, and there are no loops to go round in circles. Dead ends are where the challenge comes from.
Why mazes are worth the paper
Tracing a path with a pencil is fine-motor practice, and finding the route means planning ahead and backing out of dead ends without getting frustrated. Kids just think it is a puzzle.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do the mazes come with answers?
Yes. Leave "Add solution pages" on and each maze gets a matching page with the route drawn in green.
Can I print a whole book of different mazes?
Yes. Set "How many mazes" up to 30 and each page is a new maze. Press Shuffle for a completely new set.
What size maze is right for a 5-year-old?
Start with about 8 squares across and 10 down. If they finish it in under a minute, go bigger next time.
