How hard is the Halloween word scramble?
The words are four to nine letters long, right for second to fourth grade. Turn on the first-letter hint to make it easier.
Can I put phrases in, not just single words?
Yes. Each word in the phrase is scrambled on its own and the spaces stay where they are, so "ice cream" becomes something like "eci maerc".
Is there an answer key?
Yes. Leave "Add an answer key page" on and a second page lists every answer in order. Print just the first page for the class.
How many words fit on one page?
Up to 30. Twelve or fewer print in one large column; more than that switch to two columns.
